Demonstrators chanting "Black Lives Matter" stormed the Oklahoma Capitol on Wednesday, forcing the state House of Representatives into lockdown, in order to protest several Republican-backed bills, including one that provides legal protections to motorists fleeing riots.

More than two dozen protesters filled the gallery on the fifth floor while the Oklahoma House in the chamber below was in session. Video showed demonstrators chanting, "Stand united against all hate," and "We will use our voices to stand against corruption, to fight hate, to defend Black and Brown lives." The disturbance interrupted the session for several minutes.

Judges are being shown 'grisly' videos of MAGA mob dragging Capitol cops that have yet to be seen by public

One of the most serious cases of violence against Capitol Police officers during the January 6th MAGA riots has flown mostly under the radar -- and it reportedly involves "grisly" footage that has never been seen by the public or the media.

CNN reports that body camera videos from officers who were beaten and dragged by Trump supporters during the riots at the United States Capitol building are being used by prosecutors to argue that at least five accused rioters should not be released ahead of their trials.

"In several court hearings in recent weeks, prosecutors have rolled out as at least four video clips, with most taken from the police officers' body camera footage, to convince judges... of the severity of the danger," reports CNN. "As each of the defendants have been processed, some of the videos have been shown multiple times, to different judges, or to highlight the actions of each defendant."

Federal judge Emmet Sullivan, one of the judges who viewed the footage in court this week, remarked during a hearing that "every time I look at these videos, it just chokes me up."

The footage in the videos depicts two unidentified officers trying to help a Trump supporter at the Capitol who had fallen to the ground and was being trampled by other rioters.

The footage shows that one officer "lay on his stomach, surrounded, as... rioters beat him with an upside-down American flag on a flagpole and other objects," writes CNN.

A second officer, meanwhile, was dragged into the crowd "where rioters took his helmet, cell phone and gas mask and began beating him."

Trump-loving insurrectionist couple arrested for attacking Capitol police after leaving evidence all over Facebook

Mark and Jalise Middleton, a husband and wife from rural Texas, have been arrested on charges that include "engaging in physical violence" against police officers at the January 6 Capitol riot.

The Middleton's, from Forestburg TX, are accused of having made a couple's activity out of assaulting officers on the front line of the Capitol insurrection. Here's some of the description from the FBI complaint, citing footage from police body cams:

"Officers begin struggling against rioters who are refusing repeated orders to step back from the barricade and are attempting to breach the police line. As the struggle ensues, a male individual wearing a red, white, and blue "Trump" beanie hat, red and white scarf, gray or silver jacket, blue jeans, red and white "Nike" shoes, and gray backpack with a red logo on the back—later identified as Mark Middleton— pushes against the barricades and the police line with his body. As officers repeatedly order (him) and other rioters to "get back," (he) is heard yelling "fuck you!" as he continues pushing against the barricade.

"Middleton struggles against the officers for more than thirty seconds... he grabs onto (an officer's) left hand or wrist and appears to pull (his) body forward, as Middleton reaches his other arm across the barricade toward (the officer).

"At the same time, a female individual wearing a red, white, and blue "Trump 2020" beanie hat, red, white, and blue scarf, gray jacket, red shirt, and gold ring with what appears to be diamonds—later identified as Jalise Middleton -- repeatedly grabs and strikes T.T. over the barricade with her hand."

Both Middleton's are accused of striking and grappling with officers "as various flags are jabbed toward the officers' faces."

As now seems customary, the FBI was able to track the Middleton's with the help of a live Facebook video posted by the husband. Here's some of what he had to announce to the world:

"We are on the front lines. We helped push down the barriers. Jalise and I got pepper sprayed, clubbed, and tear gassed. We had to retreat, but more patriots pushed forward, and they're taking back our house. They've got the giant flag up on the upper terrace up there. No more fooling around! Jalise and I gotta go back to the hotel and try to recoup and change, get dry clothes on. Make America great again! Freedom!"

Middleton helped corroborate the video with these January 6 and 7 posts, according to the FBI:

"I just got gassed by the Capital Police." (In response to being asked "Happy gas or the nasty kind?") "Nasty kind."

"We were in the thick of it."

"I got tear gassed pepper sprayed and clubbed."

(In response to being asked "Did you really storm the capital?") "We did not. When we were on the steps no one was on the inside or on the upper balconies outside."

"I was there on the steps in this pic. Capital police insights this. The crowd was not agitated until CP started tear gassing, pepper spraying and clubbing people."

"Also. Those that caused damage were NOT patriots. Yea patriots did enter the capital. I have seen private video. But we also had infiltrators."

"We left the hotel at 6:30am and didn't get back till 6:00pm. Do not believe the news media, we're not rioters or mobs. There are close to a million people here today, if not MORE. People swarmed D.C from all across the nation, of all ages, races and backgrounds. If we intended to start a riot, there wouldn't be a building left, just saying. Yet, not one building is burned, not one store looted, not one police car set on fire! Listening to the Congress makes my blood boil, they're playing the victim cards. They blame Trump for today because they're afraid, because earlier this morning Trump reminded them that people will remember them by their action today or we will start a new party. Trump represented us but he, moved their cheese, the stinky politicians. Afterwards, patriots marched all the way to the Capitol, chanting and singing the national anthem. The atmosphere makes you feel proud to be an American, ask anyone that was there, I guarantee you that's what every single person will tell you. As we approached and gathered at the back of the Capitol, even after people occupied the high and low grounds, national anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, chantings for Trump, USA and singing of patriotic songs, singing hymns and praying are all that you hear. Then came the tear gas. I'm not going to comment much on that, the metro police might've felt threatened, or received orders, I don't know. Tear gas frequency increased as it got closer to the curfew (which was enacted at 3pm today). That infuriated many of us. We've been the ones supporting the police, backing the police, but this is how we're being treated? Nonetheless, we started dispersing. Most people made their ways back to the hotel. Again, NO burning or looting. Simply making our ways back to the hotels. You CAN'T convince me there was no voter fraud found when I stood on the street for 20mins and still couldn't see the end of the crowd!"

And there was from Mrs. Middleton:

"We fought the cops to get in the Capital and got pepper sprayed and beat but by gosh the patriots got in!"

"(In response to the question "Are you safe?") "Ya we were the first group to storm the capital. Just bruised and pepper sprayed"

"Me and my husband were on the front lines pushing into the capital and got past the fencing but then we got beat by a cop and pepper sprayed so we had to retreat but you see all our fellow patriots got in"

(In response to the question "Are ya'll okay?"] "Yes but we made history and got everyone in"

(In response to the question "Why did they fight the cops?"] "To get in the Capital to send them bastards a clear message that this won't be tolerated."

"We didn't make it in. We got pepper sprayed while fighting on front line. The best couldn't be documented because we were all hands on deck"

"Patriots busted through barrierers (sic) to get in Capital (sic). Best I know, there was no "looting or rioting ". We just sent a warning that we are serious. They did break windows to get in, but we're not tearing anything up. It is simply a notification that we can get to you, we mean business, do what's right! Patriots don't stoop low like Antifa."

Here's some additional reporting from the NBC-TV affiliate in Dallas:

"According to her LinkedIn page, Jalise Middleton, 50, is a billing manager for Angels Care Home Health in Gainesville and graduated from Arlington High School. She moderated a Parkinson's support group, according to the Gainesville Register.

"Mark Middleton, 51, a volunteer firefighter and pilot, worked at Nortex Communications, an internet service provider in Muenster, and has a master's degree in theology from Liberty University, according to his LinkedIn.

"A spokesman for Nortex Communications said Mark Middleton started at the company in October selling broadband services and was no longer employed as of Thursday.

"A representative from Angels Care Home Health did not return a call seeking comment.

"The Middletons are the 21st and 22nd alleged U.S. Capitol rioters to be arrested by the Dallas office of the FBI, which covers the northern half of Texas."

So Joe won the biggest election in our history, and the first thing he does is dismantle a bunch of Trump orders, in particular on border control, and when the predicted surge of ILLEGAL MIGRANTS overwhelms the border patrol, bidens answer is to a)blame Trump b) accommodate the hoards with free hotel rooms, free medical care, and all without even bothering with recording names or ordering appearance at hearings. Just, cmon in, here's your room key.

And Joe has gone boot licking overseas to, you know, apologize for that rascal Trump's arrogant withdrawal of the US from the Paris climate accord that, you know, made the US the banker and primarily accountable for fixing shit, and then, just to underscore his apology he killed the momentum to keep the US energy independent.

And of course, we have the debt, which despicables bitched about with the Trump administration, and which joe has jacked up, in less than 100 days, by well over $4 TRILLION and he plans to jack it up maybe another $6 TRILLION before his first year is up. No matter, he has a plan.

During the campaign it was anyone making over $400,000 a year, then it was "oh no, I was misquoted, I said FAMILIES making over $400,000 a year, and oh, by the way, we may need to drop that to $200,000 a year, cause, you know, TRUMP. And he won't stop there. Now he's after estate equity, with a tricky change in how much of an estate the government gets when we die. Lot of potential there, gotta explore that!

But carefully, oh so carefully biden/harris will erode the 2nd amendment, which, we were just reminded, is not an absolute, cause we don't need no steenkin rebels running around with guns getting in the way of the plan.

BUSTED: Kansas woman arrested after daughter bragged about her role in Trump's insurrection

Jennifer Ruth Parks, arrested by the FBI Friday in connection with the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, was apprehended in an unusual way: Someone tipped off the feds with a screen shot of a text in which her daughter was beaming about her mother's attendance at the protest.

Parks, of Kansas, and her friend Edith Schwemmer, both attended the Trump rally and then entered the Capitol after the doors were broken, according to the FBI complaint citing voluntary January 17 interviews with the two. The report also said the bureau received this tip six days earlier:

"The tipster shared a text message screen shot between Parks' daughter and an unknown individual where Parks' daughter wrote: 'So depressed over all of the cheating in the election right now. Mom and her friend went to Washington for the March. Wish I could have gone too. Lol.' Parks' daughter further wrote: 'We should all be climbing over those walls. They pushed us too far.'"

This what Parks told the FBI, according to the complaint:

"Parks believed she was attending a peaceful rally in support of President Donald Trump. Parks, along with Schwemmer, entered the U.S. Capitol for "thirty minutes to one hour" after the doors were broken. Parks entered the Capitol Building through the front lower door with no stairs. Parks proceeded up a round staircase to the second floor and observed groups of people praying and singing. Parks sung the U.S. national anthem in a group on the second floor of the building."

To date, no arrest of Schwemmer has been announced by the FBI. However, she was quoted in the complaint against Parks, who she identified as her friend. Like Parks, she told agents she thought she was attending a peaceful rally and march to the Capitol.

"Schwemmer claimed that she and Parks walked to the front of the Capitol building, encountered no barricades and no police officer told them to stop. They entered the building through the lower door in the front and went straight to the 'roundabout' area.

"Schwemmer described the building as 'messy and smelled bad' so they went upstairs." She said they left the Capitol as soon as an officer told them to do so.

Schwemmer also mentioned climbing a tree to photograph a man wearing a colonial jacket with a walkie-talkie. She provided photos of that, along with one showing her with Parks outside the Capitol.

Parks faces unlawful and violent entry and disorderly conduct charges. You can read the FBI complaint here.

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman on Monday suggested that Republican House leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was deliberately trying to revise history to deny former President Donald Trump's role in stoking the MAGA rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6th.

While appearing on CNN, Haberman said that McCarthy's latest claims about Trump trying to help end the January 6th riots did not jibe with any of the previous reporting she had done.

"There was a report from others that President Trump was watching television and was pleased in part by what he saw because of people fighting for him and in part because it was delaying certification of the vote," she said. "There you were watching it happen. There's absolutely nothing I know from my reporting, or that I've seen from anyone else's reporting, that backs up this new version of what Kevin McCarthy is saying."

Haberman then suggested that McCarthy's efforts to rewrite history were part of a political strategy heading into the 2022 midterm elections.

"This is part of a broader effort that we have seen over many weeks as Republicans are looking to take the midterms... to try to downplay or simply memory hole what happened on January 6th," she said.

A federal judge ruled that a New Jersey gym owner should remain jailed on charges related to the Jan. 6 insurrection due to his habit of punching people in the face.

Senior U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth ruled Friday that Scott Fairlamb should not be released, saying he agreed with prosecutors that the gym owner and Donald Trump supporter showed no remorse for storming the Capitol and had a history of criminal violence.

"In other words," Lamberth ruled, "the defendant's history of punching people in the face suggests he may punch people in the face again."

The 44-year-old Fairlamb was indicted last month on 12 charges, including assaulting a federal officer, entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds with a deadly weapon, and acts of physical violence on the Capitol grounds.

Multiple tipsters alerted the FBI after spotting Fairlamb in videos from the insurrection, which showed the gym owner carrying a collapsible baton he picked up during the riot.

"What (do) patriots do?" Fairlamb said during the riot, according to prosecutors. "We f*cking disarm them and then we storm the f*cking Capitol."

True to form, according to prosecutors, the former mixed martial arts fighter punched a police officer in the face during the melee.

Something that has always bothered me is on the list of American Exceptionalism excep0tionally stupid has got to be there because we create our own shortages. Just take toilet paper. Back in the 70's there was a story about a shortage of toilet paper. Now the story was about problems with public restrooms in Europe having a shortage of the kind of cheap scratchy toilet paper no American would ever use. But that headline and a joke by Johnny Carson was all it took to panic Americans primed after the fake gasoline shortage to run out to buy and then horde toilet paper and created an actual shortage. And we just saw the same thing when COVID first hit. There was plenty of toilet paper to wipe every ass in America. Nothing had changed about that. But when people go out and buy five times as much as they normally would supplies dwindle and that creates more panic and the supply gets wiped out. And you have to look at some people and wonder what are you going to do with that year or two worth of toilet paper?

But that is nothing compared to bullet shortages. That happens every couple years or so. And the shelves are empty again. I know some people who couldn't get ammunition for the gun they have and so they bought a new gun that would shoot whatever ammunition is in stock. And for what? What are you going to do with all those guns and ammunition you are hording? More than you could shoot in a lifetime.

Efforts to form militias are being hampered by the firearm ammo crisis gripping America.

"If you don't own guns or particularly care about guns, you probably had no idea that the United States is currently in the throes of the Great Ammunition Shortage of 2021. But in the gun world, it's all anyone can talk about," Tess Owen reported for Vice News on Monday.

"A perfect storm of factors led to the national ammo drought, which is forecast to drag out for at least another year," Owen explained. "Americans began buying guns at a record pace in 2020 after COVID-19 hit the U.S. Between March and September 2020, gun sales jumped by 91 percent over the same period the previous year. And the approximately 15.1 million new guns needed ammo. But there were manufacturing issues. International shipments of materials used in ammunition were delayed amid restrictions. Ammo and firearm manufacturers were required to temporarily halt operations in certain states where they weren't deemed essential business."

"All the while, demand kept climbing. National unrest after the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis cop (and conspiracy theories about that unrest coming into the suburbs) created another run on guns and ammo. And when Joe Biden won the presidential election and vowed to pursue gun control, demand surged again," the report noted.

The shortage is making it harder for militia groups to organize.

"The ammunition shortage has also posed a bit of an obstacle for militia organizing. VICE News spoke with Reddit user Tactischink, 21, about his efforts to form a militia in his home state of Minnesota," Owen reported. "He says that even if some of his friends were open to the idea of forming a militia, the cost of doing so was prohibitive. "They're like, OK, that does sound kind of badass, but it's a lot of money," Tactischink said. 'There's a huge ammo shortage, so ammo is very, very expensive. I mean, we're talking a dollar a round. If you want to buy a thousand rounds, you're looking at a thousand dollars, which is a ton of money for people that are younger like myself.'"
