The 2022 MLB All-Star rosters' 10 biggest snubs: Where are Ty France and Freddie Freeman?

The full list of 2022 MLB All-Star players on the American and National League rosters -- including the starters -- and we've got some stars having awesome seasons who got left out.

Of course this happens every year in every sport: Inevitably, some talent gets left out for one reason (roster size) or another (in this case, it doesn't help that every MLB team needs to be represented).

So let's go over some of the guys left out, and maybe if there's an injury or any other reason a player has to bow out, this list will provide some good replacements.

Here we go, in no particular order:

1. 3B Austin Riley, Atlanta Braves

Dude's hitting .282 with 23 dingers and 56 RBI. Really?

2. 1B Ty France, Seattle Mariners

The one everyone's buzzing about: A .306/10/45 year with .840 OPS somehow didn't cut it.

3. 1B Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles Dodgers

Tough to break into the long list of good first basemen this year, but his .304/11/54 probably should have been enough to get him in.

4. SP Dylan Cease, Chicago White Sox

The resume: A 2.45 ERA and 133 Ks in 92 innings. Not chosen!

5. SP Carlos Rodon, San Francisco Giants

Eight wins, a 2.70 ERA and a very classy response involving his ex-teammate, Cease:

6. SP Logan Gilbert, Seattle Mariners

A 10-3 record and 2.80 wasn't enough?

7. SP Kevin Gausman, Toronto Blue Jays

He's been terrific all year (2.86 ERA), but fell short in this case, apparently!

8. 3B Brandon Drury, Cincinnati Reds

A career-high 18 home runs, his 50 RBI are 13 short of his best from 2017, and he's hitting .277. But nope!

9. RP Devin Williams, Milwaukee Brewers

How about some love for the reliever who continues to dominate year after year with filthy stuff and a 1.93 ERA this season?

10. RP Michael King, New York Yankees

If I'm going to say that in the NL, need an AL reliever snub. Here you go: A 2.33 ERA, 62 strikeouts in 46.1 innings.
